The Cle Elum-Roslyn School District is proud to recognize three outstanding students who have been nominated for School Board Awards for their dedication, hard work, and personal growth. This month’s honorees are Octavia Orndorff (1st grade, Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary School), Owen Elmendorf (10th grade, Cle Elum-Roslyn High School), and Kennedy Fullmer (11th grade, Cle Elum-Roslyn High School).
Octavia Orndorff (Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary School) - Octavia has been working diligently to reach her classroom goals and has made tremendous progress in following the Gray Wolf Way—being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Her growth and achievements have been evident, and the pride she takes in her progress shines through when she eagerly shares her successes with the office staff.
Owen Elmendorf (Cle Elum-Roslyn High School) - Owen exemplifies a strong work ethic, focus, and curiosity for learning. His insightful questions not only enhance his own understanding but also foster a more engaging learning environment for his classmates. Beyond the classroom, Owen is a dedicated and supportive presence—always willing to assist his peers and teachers. His commitment to both academics and extracurricular activities highlights his well-rounded character and contributions to the school community.
Kennedy Fullmer (Cle Elum-Roslyn High School) - Kennedy’s academic journey is a testament to her determination and perseverance. After facing challenges in her freshman and sophomore years, she earned all As and an A- during the first semester of her junior year—a remarkable achievement. Her dedication to learning is evident in the care and effort she puts into her studies each day. Looking ahead, Kennedy plans to challenge herself further by enrolling in College in the High School courses and participating in Running Start classes through Central Washington University.
We are incredibly proud of Octavia, Owen, and Kennedy for their hard work and dedication. Their achievements reflect the values of our school community, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future. Congratulations to our School Board Award nominees!
