CWU will be sending Financial Aid Officers to be able to share more information with families about how to pay for college. Since the FAFSA application will not open until December 1st, they will be returning in late November/early December to do a FAFSA application night. Even if your student is not planning on attending CWU, this information should be useful for families and students alike.

This October we will be offering the PSAT and SAT to Juniors and Seniors to take at school for free. We were able to offer 25 spots for each test. The PSAT filled up quickly and those Juniors will be taking the exam on Monday, October 16th. There are still spots available for Seniors who would like to take the SAT at school on October 26th. Contact Mrs. Day in the Career Center to sign up.
FAFSA Application Opens Up In December
The release of this year’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid will be delayed until December. The attached flyer from the Washington Student Achievement Council addresses some of the common questions families and students may have about the new FAFSA.
We will have a FAFSA Day in late November/early December with Financial Aid Officers from CWU on sight to help families navigate the application.
