Today, as we remember September 11th, we pause to honor the lives lost and the heroes who showed bravery, and are reminded of the strength found in community and are grateful for those who dedicate themselves to serving others every day.

The Incident Command Team is temporarily housed at Cle Elum-Roslyn High School for the next few days as they coordinate local fire response efforts. We kindly ask that the community avoid the areas being used by Incident Command so emergency personnel can do their work effectively.
All other student and school activities are continuing as scheduled today, including Band Camp. We will be closely monitoring air quality conditions throughout the day to ensure student safety.

Dear Families,
Soon, many of the ParentSquare text messages you get from our school will come from regular 10-digit phone numbers. This will make it easier to see who is messaging you. For example, a message from your child’s teacher will come from a different phone number than a message from the school office.
What’s changing?
Right now, most texts come from a 5-digit number. Soon, you’ll start getting texts from different regular 10-digit phone numbers for:
Messages from the district, digests and alerts will still come from the 5-digit number.
What should you do?
When you receive a message from one of these new 10-digit numbers, save it to your contacts. Here are some suggestions:
Save a teacher’s number as: Ms. Davis - 4th Grade
Save classroom/group posts as: Lincoln Elementary Classes
Save school posts number as: Lincoln Elementary Updates

Please join us in celebrating the retirement of Dottie Lang, a dedicated and caring bus driver who has been with the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District for 19 years.
For nearly two decades, Dottie has been a constant source of warmth and dependability for our students and families—offering a reassuring presence each morning and a cheerful send off at the end of the day. Her kindness, patience, and consistency made a lasting impact on all those lucky enough to ride her bus.
Dottie, your service and care have meant so much to our school community. You will be truly missed, and we wish you all the best in your well-earned retirement.

This is a reminder that all Smart Tags must be kept—please do not throw them away or destroy them. Students will need their Smart Tags for use next school year. Please have your student(s) return it to their bus driver or the school office by the last day of school. Starting next year, there will be a $5 replacement fee beginning with the third card printed, and every card printed after that. To avoid fees, please help your student keep track of their Smart Tag. Capital Projects Construction Underway – Thank You for Your Support! The Cle Elum-Roslyn School District is excited to announce that construction is now underway on several important facility improvements—thanks to the generous support of our community through the Capital Projects Levy. Current projects include: Track resurfacing (including repair of failed areas), installation of new throwing areas (for shot put, discus, and javelin), resurfacing of tennis and pickleball courts, and paving of Swiftwater Lane Trail (to improve access and safety). These upgrades will enhance both athletic and recreational opportunities for our students and community. We ask everyone to please be mindful of ongoing construction, avoid construction vehicles and active work zones, and do not enter fenced or restricted areas during this time. We sincerely appreciate your continued support as we work to improve our facilities for current and future generations.
