This is a friendly reminder to be sure and fill out the 2nd Semester Electives Survey. This Survey was sent out on Monday, November 28th. The Survey will help us gather information on your student’s top elective choices for the second semester (January 30th - June 14th). We cannot guarantee that your student will get their top choices.
Please review carefully with your student and have your student fill out the online survey listed below that matches their grade level.

Thank you parents for driving extra slow during pick up this afternoon as we had a community member experience a medical issue in his vehicle in front of our schools. This is unrelated to the police activity at the east end of town. Special thank you WSP & the Fire Department for assisting so quickly.
School will be starting on time this morning. Please give yourself enough time to arrive safely and have patience with one another in our parking lot.

School will begin at 10:10am. Parents, please do not drop off students before 9:45am to ensure that there is staff supervision on campus. Staff should use sensible precautions to arrive safely at work at a reasonable time. We do not make these decisions lightly and will always take safety seriously. Please travel with care on your way to school today.

See our pictures..... Ms. Z's class hosts Friendsgiving. Dist. 7 Fire and Rescue served Thanksgiving Lunch to students while talking about careers, education, and the importance of school. Collaboration and building a sense of school-community through a STEAM activity during our pumpkin/gourd car races. Kevin Lieske from WA State Parks and Recreation teaches Mrs. Kerlee's 8th grade Science Class about the rock cycle through games and activities.
It's great to be a Wildcat! It's great to live and learn in such a community!
Today law enforcement and firefighters served our students an early holiday feast.
After all the kids were served, they joined the students and ate lunch with them. Big smiles were had by all!!
Special Thank You to firefighters for sharing more about their careers with WSMS students during lunch!
6th, 7th and 8th Grade Band and Choir Concert just concluded. A lot of hard work and practice was on display. The students' performances were awesome! Well done students and Mr. Tuchardt!!

Snow flakes are falling and temperatures are dropping! Have you had a chance to get a winter coat? If not, come by WSMS on Thursday after school to pick one out! The Firefighters have done a great job gathering warm coats for kids AND adults in our community.
