First ski tracks this week! Cross country skiing teaches our Gray Wolves a variety of locomotor skills while maintaining balance, demonstrating pacing in a variety of distances, transitioning smoothly from one skill to another as well as learning boot size and how to put on and tie boots. Our Wolves are learning many skills and gain valuable experience and cardiorespiratory exercise minutes during our snowy P.E. days! A quick friendly reminder that due to the colder temperatures, we want to make sure our Gray Wolves have the appropriate clothing to be warm and comfortable so they can participate in this fun activity. Please be sure your students have the following items on PE days: Hat, Coat, Snow Pants, Snow Gloves and Snow Socks/Boots. Thank you!
