I have been teaching preschool since 2014. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a minor in early childhood. I chose to teach Preschool because I love working with the littles who are full of energy, enthusiasm and the readiness to learn and explore. I want to be a part of their foundation, providing them with experiences and opportunities that they can build on for years to come.

While originally from Vashon Island, I have been lucky enough to live in this area for the last seven years.  I have been teaching for over twenty years so I have worked with students from age three to twenty-one.  Special education and early childhood education have always been my main focus.  I especially love early childhood education because this is when a love of learning is created.  When young children feel safe and successful in preschool, it teaches them that school is a safe space where they can try new things, take chances and make mistakes and that is how we learn.
