Cle Elum Roslyn School District created this page to to keep the community and staff informed on collective bargaining efforts with the Cle Elum Roslyn District employees who are represented by labor unions, we have included the following information about our bargaining efforts and easy access to collective bargaining agreements. During the 2022-2023 school year we will be actively bargaining with classified and certificated labor unions. Below you can find their current contracts for your review as our efforts to keep our staff and community informed and be transparent in how we are utilizing our generous community resources.

PSE 2024-25 PSE Salary Schedule & LOA
REPRESENTED ORGANIZATIONS:
Public Employees of Cle Elum- Roslyn (PSE): Classified Staff including Administrative Assistants, Office Assistants, Kitchen Staff, Technology, Safety & Security Coordinator, Transportation, Maintenance Staff, and Paraeducators.
Cle Elum Roslyn Education Association (CEREA): Certificated Staff including Teachers, Counselors, and Specialists.
BARGAINING NORMS
Start and end on time, either 3:30 - 5 or 3:30 - 5:30, depending on which group
Come prepared-not request to caucus immediately to avoid wasted time
Agree to calendar dates ahead of time
Professional respect at the table
Disagree without being disagreeable. Attack issues not the people
Be kind and respectful of one another
Caucus- Agree to the amount of time 20-30 min
Ability to TA (tentatively agree) at the table until further review
Try to have estimated cost analysis of proposals
Avoid shock and awe - focus on priorities to keep bargaining from being lengthy endeavor
Have copies for all parties ready

PUBLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYEES OF CLE ELUM ROSLYN: Contract was renew through August 31st, 2026.
April 24, 2023: PSE and District bargaining session - exchanged initial proposals.
May 4, 2023: PSE and District bargaining session - exchanged last of new proposals.
May 11, 2023: PSE and District bargaining session - counter of proposals.
May 18, 2023: PSE and District bargaining session - counter of proposals.
May 25, 2023: PSE and District bargaining session - counter of proposals.
June 15, 2023: PSE and District bargaining session - reached tentative agreements.
CERSD Administration and PSE came together to provide this update after the conclusion of this years bargaining.
May 15, 2024: PSE and District discussed & set norms and what documents to bring to the table next meeting.
June 3, 2024: District shared information requested by PSE and PSE presented their proposal to District.
June 13, 2024: District responded to proposal with a proposal.
June 27th, 2024: PSE and District reached tentative agreements.
