Cle Elum Roslyn School District is committed to ensuring that all multilingual students access grade-level instruction in an inclusive and supportive environment. Our educational approach is culturally and linguistically responsive, acknowledging and celebrating the diverse backgrounds of our students. We aim to provide a rich, engaging curriculum that fosters academic achievement and language proficiency. By incorporating culturally relevant pedagogy and differentiated instruction, we strive to meet the unique needs of each learner, empowering them to succeed and thrive both academically and personally.

The WIDA English Language Development Standards Framework provides learning targets for teachers as they help the MLL students learn English.

I was raised in Eastern Washington and am an alumni of Seattle Pacific University and Eastern Washington University. I am a 4th generation WA educator. My favorite hobby is traveling and I find planning for the next trip almost as much fun as the trip itself.
